As long as both of the Mii's level of love for one another is high enough, (I think it's light green text) one of them will eventually ask you if you think they should have a kid. If you reply yes, in a few days they'll call you, informing you of their child. Do remember that this is random, so it might take a while to happen. I hope this was helpful!
