When climbing, Link can attach to any vertical surface, however how long he can climb is limited by a stamina guage much like Skyward Sword. The Koroks from Wind Waker can be found throughout the world (so I believe the game cant be too far off from when the Great Flood ended). Although, I initially thought this hame would take place immediately after Skyward Sword.
