I've considered that, as an organization filled primarily with people of military history there's bound to be some violence... however they made a big deal out of who they allowed on the Whale based on skills and morals, and while that's a bit of a pretense since nearly all humans were digitized, you'd think those prone to cold murder wouldn't be given free reign, manpower needed or not.
