Yeah, it's a bit extreme. Most of the dating posts and things like that are posted in the YouTube community anyway, and I almost never go there anymore, except to troll and sometimes look at the drawings in popular posts. It's really easy to avoid those kind of posts if you just don't go to the YouTube community, and stay in the Wii Fit U community.
