This being a visual medium....yes! It did effect my desire to read the contents. How many do you realistically think will read a comic if the art was unappealing? The funny thing is that some members draw well here but I don't see them sharing their talent using Comic Workshop. The Japanese have great cover art which entices me to look further. So far everyone else...not so much!
