Shulk's gang head through Satorl Marsh, where they split up from Dickson, Otharon and Juju, and into Makna Forest, where they meet a girl named Melia. Shulk travels away from the others where he is attacked by Telethia and saved by a young man named Alvis. Alvis disappears and Shulk regroups.
