I always liked G.I.T.S, it was a amazing futuristic anime rife with deep philosphical prophecys. But one of the defining aspects is the brilliant OP done by Olga Yakoleva, AKA Origa. The song composed by Yoko Kanno defined GITS, and I spent many days and nights listening to thier music. Unfortunantely she passed away on Jan 17 2015 due to lung cancer. Truly saddening.
