There's a ladder behind the house that lets you make your way above the stable, and you slowly back up towards the ledge so when you fall, you can jump-slash and land on the edge of the fence as I've done. I did this on the N64 version, except at the time I didn't learn the Song of Soaring, so I had to watch the world end with Epona by my side.
