okay. it's the lighting in your room. if it's too bright or the wall behind you is a bright collr like white, etc. it'll cause that problem. the new 3ds xl will hopefully fix that problem. i'm using the old 3ds xl. and i don't see that, because my brightness is down and my wall behind me is a dark color.
