Give him any of the Title Deeds. The easiest one to get is the one in Clocktown, you trade a Moon Tear to a Business Scrub to get it. Then you give the deed to the hand in the Stock Pot Inn at midnight on the first or second nights. He will give you a Heart Piece for the paper.
