Ironically, Glass Joe can be knocked down 5 times in both Contender mode and Title defense, as opposed to Von Kaiser to Don Flamenco (King Hippo doesn't count, as he can never be knocked down), who can only get knocked down 4 times in Contender mode, then 5 times in Title Defense. Apparently, as Doc Louis says, he can take a whoopin'.
