I had something like that happen to me once. Last year, a user and I were having a serious debate, I eventually grew frustrated so I stopped commenting. I then made a new post asking a question similar to the one from the debate. Then the other guy made a post telling me that I should answer him. I eventually told him I had no obligation to answer him.
