Even if they had continued their support for SNES games, it still would have been unlikely for them to rerelease Star Fox for the Virtual Cosnole. The thing is, not only are the emulation issues pertaining to the SFX chip but the fuctions of the chip itself belong to another party, Argonaut games. The only way Nintendo could release the game would be if they were willing to pay Argonaut royalties.
