Eventually she reached the little star. However, it wasn't a star, she realized. It was a starling, a human-like child of the stars. "Are you okay!?" She asked, her child-like [she is only 8, anyways] showing clear concern. "N-no..." The starling, who happened to be male like most starlings, panted. "M-my story... It's being lost...
