Sadly, sometimes that's too slow, and the Backlash Hexagon happens to try to make it's move towards you again right before he is deleted, and after you have been replaced with the Dead Hexagon object. Therefore, there is no Hexagon to go after, and the game is confused. That must of been what cause you to get that error.
