Okay, I get that. But, there is a huge difference between a traced drawing and a drawing that used a reference. Assuming you are not doing a still-life, when you are referencing, you are training your brain to understand how something is put together. This is an important skill for art, period. This is why most real art courses have you ONLY do still-lifes.
