What about the fact that it has no other rooms, but the Living room, and Van's bedroom! There are no other doors to go any where in the first place! And the odd Japanese-rice-paper-door-thing in the backround in just a door to the backyard. The door that is across from it leads to the garage/car port. So, my question is; Where does Marie Yamano go after dark? Does she sleep on the couch?
