wrong, appendage breaks give higher chance. tip, grab sum player scouts if you dont have a fairly good appendage crush powah. my toon has high appendage break on range. killing it outright still has a chance to drop it but its very low, nearly 1% chance without T.sensor boost. (being reclaimer and grabing reclaimer support helps)
