The 3DS version is actually not that bad of a racing game. The circle pad offers nice controls like Mario Kart 7. What makes it different from the traditional Skylander adventure games is that you can level the vehicles up just like the Skylanders without the use of gearbits. It would take a long time to level up all the characters and vehicles if you only play the racing versions!
