A bit. But you don't rush it, you go at your own pace and build up experience so you do better next time and it gets a bit easier each time. It's the same with drawing. All the scarier stuff is learned later, when you have the knowledge and confidence for it, and that makes it less scary. And if you do enjoy it, that means there's a lot to play with and explore and that takes the fear out of it.
