This might help, if one of your miis DO get a friend like a popular one, that mii might encourage them to friend more miis. Also the newer miis have a hard time making friends quickly, the oldest miis make friends more quickly (Like your personal mii had to meet the second mii and no one is popular yet so they friend easily).
