seeing as you are on chapter 6 however, you have to beat this chapter before you unlock skells. there will be quite a tough sphinx at the end of this, but once you get your skell (dont settle for the default level 20, buy the level 30 as soon as you can) you wont have to worry about big enemies as much anymore.
