you have to have a child grow up to be a traveler, but the couple has to be married in order to have a child. once you have a traveler child, you have to have streetpass on. then either go to wait or search for player but they must have streetpass on and looking for someone to go to the person he's looking for's island. also it has to be direct comunication.
