I would recommend ZombieU for now. Both have good use of the gamepad, but I find myself not utilizing FF's as much. ZombieU also has offline multiplayer. It can be slow at times if you like conserving ammo and staying alive, but it is probably the best SURVIVAL game with a focus on zombies, rather than other survivors/players. I havn't played FF much, but maybe that says something about it too...
