Splatoon's a third person shooter. The gameplay is fast paced. If you don't like incredibly fast gameplay, it might not be the first favorite of yours. The main objective of the game so far is that in Turf War, you need to cover as much territory in your team's ink. There's also boss fights and combat scenes, eliminating enemies, self-explanatory. The story however isn't that great in my opinion.
