It was kinda strange and interesting how he didn't grip the wheel, and instead was apparently wired directly into the kart's steering. By the way, his appearance and his karts' appearances were different in the JP version to match the Famicom, naturally. Since he doesn't have a voice, in MKDS his voice is miscellaneous motor sounds. (In Smash, he has miscellaneous NES beeping sounds.)
