Marth isn't bad. He is just a very average character. You just need to be patient, and be cautious with your decisions. I secondary Marth. I know. His best moves are easily his down tilt, fair, side tilt/smash, and shield breaker. His up smash is probably a better option to kill with rather then his up throw. He also has the real world advantage, he has a sword. Therefore, he has priority.
