It's definitely more combat oriented, but I think for turf war the sprinkler + inkstrike is way better. I should add that it's not great against good players, so maybe don't use it in ranked. If you want to try learning how to use it, Arroana Mall and Kelp Dome are both pretty good for it (Kelp Dome, especially).
