I still need to take a look at the map. I kind of wish you could enter a Private Battle by yourself, since Flounder Heights may not be in the rotation when I play next. For the apartments, it's not like this is the first time Nintendo has included (or would include) an utterly pointless room-decorating system. (Kirby's Epic Yarn is the first example that comes to mind.)
