To be honest, i don't have a clue, but i've always wondered why nintendo didn't put some of the basic colors like red, black, grey and white. Then, thinking again, maybe they didn't put red because it would look like blood and nintendo has this policy of "no blood resemblances in any of our copyright games" so yeah. Still, they could put black and white at least.
