Honestly, the gamepad is a pain to draw on when you're used to, well, a more precise tablet xD I did a lot of line adding and erasing, adding Pixels step for step most of the time. For the lines shading (and straight lines in general) however a ruler is quite helpful. I also worked with a thinner pen than the one the Wii U Pad has.
