With Pikmin 2 berries, you could go to Wistful Wild, get 15 berries, wait 30 seconds, (1min is too long) and put leaf purples on the berries. You could try to see if more berries come back, or if the game overloads. If Pikmin 3 can't handle 25, who knows what 2 does...
