Rocks are best when thrown, can break glass, can not be stabbed or even be squished. They run the same speed as the average pikmin but are not as strong as purples and do not stun foes. While Rocks and Purples may have a few similarities, they are both very different. In fact the only real comparison would be there convenience when trying to deal with enemies. In the end, Rock Pikmin are unique.
