Knuckles are Mii costumes. I mean, they are my 2nd and 3rd favorite Sonic characters (#1 is Sonic), and they could have been great fighters, but I don't care. I'm just glad they got in at all. Plus, the Mii Fighters they're set to are quite fitting (Tails had an arm cannon in Sonic Battle, and Knuckles is good at martial arts).
