Well, the PSX didn't exist when I got my 3DO-- 3DO was the hottest tech on the market at that time. Besides I love that platform, still play it all of the time. I wound up buying a PSX in '96, and preferred the 3DO while concurrently owning both. And I like the Megadrive sound chip! SNES' was no man's land between chiptune synth and fully digital imo. These days I'm an avid PC Engine collector.
