As far as I know, the only way Wii U owners can play with Linkle and Toon Link's standard and DLC weapons is to purchase both the Legends Character pack and the Legends of Hyrule season pass when they release in summer. I'm not sure if you have to buy them in this order though. Ganondorf's trident is included in the Legends Character pack.
