You can keep multiple dragons-I'm saving up my gold in the game so I can get a Devilish Dervish egg-it's a pretty cool dragon that was mentioned in one of the books. My Deadly Nadder is almost an adult-he just needs to get to lvl 10, and he's at 8. ^-^
