You could get Elma up to rank 13 so she learns Ghost Factory, upgrade it to at least art level 4, and manually control her during battle by re-arranging the team order in the Active Members menu. Blood Sacrifice + Ghost Factory can keep your team immune to damage for a while. Lin should have Shield Wall at a nice level too.
