Since Nintendo isn't going to have any presence at E3 this year and won't be showing much of anything new for Wii U, that they will at least use that as an opportunity to release more games like this and others left in Japan physically so they at least have some presence at retail until the NX launches. They could add more titles to the Platers Choice line too.
