What I'm saying is is that these legendary pokemon have to do with exploration-which is already a big theme in Pokemon. The Sun and Moon were also used by explorers to tell the time of day, which direction they were going, and even their location sometimes. It just makes sense. :/ PLUS, these explorers are the people who discovered the continents of Africa and islands similar to Hawaii...
