Check the course map in the upper corner of the screen before you plot out your horse's movements after each round of solitaire. If it shows that you are about to go into a turn, then it would be best to move your horse inward (toward the bottom). The pace, shown in the opposite upper corner, also matters; it shows how large or small the area will be in the turn where your horse won't lose stamina
