In the original you had to go in the options menu (after 2 player mode) and play the songs 19,65,09,17 in order and press start to reset the game. Then, you had to press A+Start to go to the level select. There you play the songs 01,09,09,02,01,01,02,04 and press A+Start with a level highlighted. I would guess the genisis "A" button would be either the "Y" or "A" button on the 3DS... Have fun!
