@Chris If you haven't completed those puzzles do that first as it helps to level those owners horses faster. Also I got 3 out of the 6 card games in that race as no stamina loss. It's important to keep low on turns and a bit of luck doesn't hurt with the card placement. Lastly buy carrots when 2 and 3 as often as you can as it's like buying experience!
