I think Edea's "roar" endear her to a lot of people. :) There's a boss monster in Final Fantasy XIV that goes "Grgragragrgra" (basicslly) and while fighting it not too long after Bravely released, someone shouted "Oh, hello, Edea..." when it did that. My husband and I were both so tickled because we are HUGE Bravely fans and we both adore Edea.
