The reason that they don't like Wii u isn't just about support, it's that it's complicated to program. Normally it's a small code change, but with Wii u they have to program for the gamepad scree and several different controllers. This cut out of their profit so much they see it as unneeded hassle. Wii u is very innovative... And innovation doesn't pay
