Unlike common thought, the circle for slugs only tells you you're using slugs, they're not the actual hipfire boxes, so steady aim helps for hip firing. Ready up helps panic hipfire, which usually works in close range. On the go is a cheap version of Sleigh of Hand, so I don't stay still while reloading. I recommend reloading after every kill. Gambler usually gives me something good, so who knows?
