You're probably thinking that because of the 100 headshots for assault rifles, or the 100 one-shot kills with shotguns, but do you get a headshot on almost every kill? I certainly don't. Also, try to get an automatic (that you haven't used much) to Kryptek, then check your kills with it in your combat record. Probably more than 300 kills.
