Keep a good distance. Not too far, and not too close. Just good enough so you can use the 'A' parry attack. Don't shield too much because he can stun you while you do so and leave you open. So just backflip and sidestep alot. At first, Zelda will help you and maybe stun him for a while but later you are on your own.
