You'll need the Mirror Shield, which is conveniently one of the dungeon items, so don't worry about this until you get it. That statue covers a hole that leads deeper into the Savage Labyrinth, at the bottom of which is an optional item that, when equipped, reveals the remaining health of any enemy while it is being targeted.
