Yeah, I did too, but Phantom Ganon becomes much easier if you handle him like that. I would definitely recommend the Focus Spirit for The Imprisoned, though, because your warriors will all get 50% magic from the first boss, 50% from the second, and then you don't have to wait for him to stop moving and stand up. Switch characters, FS when he falls, X before he moves. Saves a lot of time.
